and so we meet again. today is thursday. i normally work thursdays, but mail volumes have been VERY low so many of us are getting an extra day off each week. kinda rough on the paycheck. blah. hopefully i will be able to pick up a shift next week…i like to be home though. cozy. with edward, just hanging out..chilling. i’ve been doing a lot of cooking/baking lately. and i’ve decided to go vegan. i’ve been wanting to/trying to for the past couple of months, but i can really say now that i am going for it. it may be a long process, but i know i can do it. i’ve cut all animal products out of my diet. as for the other things (cosmetics, clothes, etc…) i have decided to use what i have until i wear it out or run out of the product. when it comes time to purchase new things, i will make sure that they are cruelty free. unfortunately, i do have suede converse shoes and a leather belt, but really those are the only clothing items that i am concerned about. as far as soap and that sort of thing, i’d like to start purchasing from the body shop. tomorrow i get paid, so i will pay some bills, go to the store and hang out with edward for a bit. then there is a show @ urban lounge a little later that i might go with stephanie to. excited for saturday. i guess there’s summerfest 2010 happening in orem. never been before, but it might be fun to walk around. it will be nice to hang out with strider. we’re going to watch the parade and fireworks. i’m looking forward to that. ahh! i miss him so much sometimes. but for the most part, things are ok. we are ok. and i loves him. we may live a little ways away from eachother, but 30 minutes away is a lottttt better than 4-5 hours away!! kind of getting sleepy, might go to bed now. more later…

well, blog. long time no see. sorry. a lot has happened since i last posted anything…moved back to wyoming for the summer and a good part of winter…and as of january, i have been back in salt lake. got a one bedroom across the street from my old apartment haha. edward and i are happy here. i think he likes having his own space. don’t get me wrong, i did love being in wyoming with my family…but it was boring after a while. i love their company — but i just missed being in salt lake with so much to do and so many people to see! so, i am working for the usps at their remote encoding center as a data conversion operator…aka we “key” mail. i work nights, which is very different but it is good money. i am not in a salon, but would maybe like to persue that at later time. right now i am just focusing on making money and having fun i am still young. i started volunteering at an animal sanctuary here and i lovvvvvve it so so much. it is called the Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary. I am absolutely in love with it. There are sooooo many animals. I go on tuesdays for a couple hours. It is a lot of work (i fill the waters) but really it isn’t work…it is kind of like therapy for me. You can go there and just let your worries leave you. It is very enjoyable I am taking my camera this week and will take some photos to post. Here is their website: http://www.chingsanctuary.org/. what’s the point? that’s a very good question. i think everyone is ridiculous. there are SO many people out there, COUNTLESS people who have gotten married and then throw it all away for a neat little fling with some slutty, filthy thing. i have a friend who was recently interested in a guy who happened to be going through a divorce. she thought he was amazing and felt bad that he was going through such a rough time. according to him, his wife had cheated on him and is a horrible person. so this friend of mine, hasnt heard from this guy in several weeks and all the sudden he starts talking to her again. she finds out that HE HAS BEEN FOOLING AROUND WITH A MARRIED WOMAN! what an asshole. seriously? you are so butt hurt and heartbroken over your wife cheating on you that you have to go mess around with a married woman? WHAT THE FUCK? what an asshole. why do people even get married if they are not 100% sure that they want to be with that person for the rest of their lives. and ONLY THAT PERSON?! what is WRONG with people? DONT GET MARRIED IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO CHEAT ON THE PERSON AND RUIN EVERYTHING. all i know is, when i get married (if i ever get married) it will be right. marriage shouldnt be so disposable. it’s disgusting how people are. filthy. gross. horrible.

well, here we are again. me logging in after reading kamille’s entry and wanting to write something but not sure what. been thinking a lot lately. about where i want to be and what i want to do….haven’t found any answers yet…a great opportunity has come up at work (not allowed to talk about it yet, though) and i am excited about that. i am not so excited about being here in provo. it’s just so boring and blah. i’ve been thinking lately that once my lease is up i’d like to move back to salt lake…..i know a few people there, there is more to do it seems…and if i DID decide to move back, hopefully there would be opportunity for me to transfer with my job to a location in salt lake. not saying it will be anytime soon, but eventually, yes….i’d like to get the hell out of here. i’d like to travel………once i have money to do so. it seems as if the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle has me in a rut. i’d like to continue doing hair….get into a salon again….but odds in utah aren’t so good for hairstylists it doesnt seem….a little while ago i was thinking of making my move back to jackson. i just don’t know anymore. i don’t think i could handle all the snow that place gets in the winter time…..

we’ll see.

here i go…off to my, erm……GREAT day??

yes, it’s true. i will be of legal age to enter a bar/club/whatever on february 11. though, the only thing i can think of that i would WANT to do that requires you to be 21 is go to a show at the urban lounge in salt lake city. jessie texted me and said that clem snide will be playing there on april 13…perhaps that will be the first one i attend? maybe the second? or third?………….we’ll see. mom and grandma are coming to provo to spend my birthday with me. i miss them bunches, so it should be fun. been working at cosmoprof for a while now full time and at the salon one day each week (tuesdays). i like it at cosmoprof. i work with a lot of great people…..

almost TOFURKEY day! i suggest everyone try some. strider, edward and myself will make the drive to etna, wy on wednesday. very excited to see the family and also, to take a bath. my new home doesn’t have a bath tub. only a standing shower…..so sometime during my visit i plan to take advantage of my parents HUGE tub. or hot tub….or both? trying to plan something (a vegetarian something) that we can contribute to the feast on thursday. we’re thinking possibly the “cowboy hot pot”. we cooked eggplant last night. it was an adventure, but it turned out well. fried the eggplant in a skillet then baked it for a few minutes with tomato and mozzarella cheese…..i’d do it again. hopefully after lunch, we’ll get some of strider’s things packed up and moved over here….i like the idea of him moving in…i talked with trav the other day on the phone and he said that i should think about it more. that “conversations will change” once we move in together and since i am a person with a “high-strung nature” sometimes, that might become a problem when living with someone………………………………….hm.

new town. started my job yesterday. it was pretty amazing. i had three appointments my first day! the first one was a free haircut for a guy named gary from the travel guide?…the next two were call in appointments. all three were mens haircuts. $25 in tips for the day. that’s wonderful compared to the tips i was getting in school. everyone i work with is very friendly…looking forward to my future there. a guy is coming tomorrow to put deadbolts on my doors, check the smoke alarms and make it so the door to the basement area closes properly….also, i will be out and about looking for a part time job to fill up my thursdays and fridays. i have a few places in mind……….ordered my business cards for the salon today. excited to get them and pass them out! it’s a little odd not having cable anymore. very very quiet in my home…..probably a good thing that i don’t have it. but we’ll see how long this lasts…..

enough for now. i still have stuff that needs unpacking.
